It’s time to celebrate the man who gave Bastrop County its name! The Bastrop County Museum & Visitor Center invites the community to join us for the Baron’s Bash on Saturday, November 21, from 10 AM to 1 PM as we celebrate the birthday of Baron de Bastrop. This fun-filled birthday celebration will bring history to life with hands-on activities, photo ops, trivia games, birthday treats, and plenty of opportunities to learn more about the fascinating namesake behind our community. Whether you’re a longtime Bastrop history buff or just curious about the Baron, there’s something for everyone at this family-friendly celebration.
