What was school like before computers, smart boards, and even ballpoint pens? Families are invited to find out at August's Family Make N Take. Through hands-on activities, crafts, and interactive learning experiences, participants will explore the history of education in Bastrop County and discover how students learned in earlier generations. This family-friendly program offers a fun and engaging opportunity to step back in time and experience history firsthand. ​All Family Make N Takes are on the second Saturday of each month and focus on a different theme related to Bastrop County history.
