1st Annual Elgin Music Festival

For the first time ever, Elgin will be hosting over 100 musicians from all over Central Texas. The 1st Annual Elgin Music Festival, presented by the Elgin Arts Association, highlights the growing number of musicians moving to and living in our community. The four-day festival aims to have a variety of sounds to give everyone a true music festival experience. Downtown Elgin has a wide range of venues from our Main Stage at Veterans Memorial Park to old BBQ joints to redesigned gas stations, including The Lightnin’ Bar, Millie’s on Main, El Maguey, Third Coast Wings & Daiquiris and Liberty Tree Tavern. You can catch a honky-tonk band one hour and walk on over and dance to cumbia at the Veterans Park the next! We will have Blues & Soul, Country, Honky-Tonk, Latino & Tejano, Singer-Songwriters, Hip-Hop, R&B, Rock-Alternative, Experimental and Heavy Rock. On Sunday, Mother’s Day, several locations will host brunch with live music including Firewild on Main. This is a grassroots movement by a growing list of volunteers.
